I read that yesterday. What a fantastic story of hard work, dedication and being a bloody nice bloke.

In typical Twatter comments fashion, it didn't take long until someone chipped in saying Spike Lee should be inducted too because he'd been a fan for far longer

Pompliano has some great threads like that. Decent analysis of all sports, too.

There should be a lot more of these stories, about the common folk in sport, instead of what Z list celeb is doing.....

In that case I want inducting too, I watched Dennis Rodman play for Brighton Bears, and Randy Duck, has Spike Lee ever done that? Has he?

All joking aside this story should be shouted from the roof tops, a guy who's worked hard and is now giving back to help others, what a thoroughly decent chap. Full deserved.
