Last 6 PL games. So why are they well odds on and we are nearly 5-1 to win.

17 points better off.
Current form, last 5 Arsenal 12 points Brighton 6 points.
We are away and will be missing a number of key players.
And the deciding factor loads of Arsenal fans have put their £10 on Arsenal beating a #teamslikebrighton

They still have an outside chance of making Europe and we're safe. Bookies fancy that we'll be on the beach and they'll be doing everything they can to win.

A fair percentage of their support would prefer that they didn't end up in the European Conference league, they don't see the time, cost and risk worth the potential outcome. They would prefer a season outside Europe to reduce the strain on the squad and have a bit more focus on progression in the league.

I would be of the similar view if I was in their shoes, but from the club's perspective Europe = more money. I don't think Arteta will be telling his team to ease up and not bother going for the win because the fans aren't fussed about ECL.
