Leaving for Spurs would be slightly strange, as he's leaving by mutual consent but signed a new 3-year deal at the beginning of this season.

If Spurs was on the cards, surely Wolves would have hung onto him so they could get some compensation.

Weird that they let him go if Spurs, they could have got a managerial transfer fee.

Who knows. May have some break clause in his contract if approached by a bigger club.

Did he have a get out clause if a Big 6 club came in?

Nuno obviously quite a good manager. Wolves squad obviously unable to cope with selling Jota and injuries to Jiminez. Not his fault.

Seems a decent fella by and large

Hope he does well

This is bad news for Palace. There's already Celtic and Spurs looking for a manager, but now Wolves are in the frame surely they are a more attractive option than Palace for the likes of Lampard, Smug Eddie, Sean Dyche, Benitez, Chris Wilder?

I'm hoping the crowded marketplace delays the Palace appointment, eating into the available time to complete the sizeable rebuild required.

Better be a Portuguese replacement, otherwise the shit might hit the fan as players want out

I remember before the season started that someone was banging on about Wolves being bottom 6 this season. I think they might have been a year early. If Nuno is off and Mendes takes his contacts with him, Wolves could be in trouble next season. All it would take is for Patricio to leave along with Neves and maybe Moutinho as well. Traore is a 1 in 7 player so if they end up relying on him, they will be in all the trouble that Sheffield United found themselves in this season.

Always love this stupid managerial circus. The vast majority of them are worth jackshit with a reputation that rests mainly on the players at their disposal

'Mutual consent' covers it if a compromise has been agreed between the clubs/manager...................

Looks like the board thought he had taken Wolves as far as possible and a new manager is required to freshen up the squad and take them to the next step.

No way is he going to Palace given the quality of football that Wolves played under him.
