Think this needs to be renamed as the "well its the end of the game for now until everyone is back home and in bed" whistle.

Not even going to mention the "yes you can take the free kick, blows, scores, not a goal after checking VAR" whistle.

How long after the final whistle can a player be booked, words with the ref in the car park!

Also players and officials from clubs... once everyone has left field of play it becomes a misconduct issue and would be recorded accordingly.

I believe the ref can send a player off in the tunnel after a game, his authority to do so remains until the players are in their dressing room.

It’s only decisions that require the restarting of the match after the half time or full time whistle that cannot be made if the ref has left the pitch (if the ref had left the pitch at full time vs Man Utd then he couldn’t have restarted the game for the penalty).
