It's a strange article by the Daily Mail, about 10 days ago they had their reporters leading the field in their reporting of Johnson's dodgy redecorating fund , and now this "A week ago the headline on our editorial said 'Almost everyone in this country has better things to worry about than Boris and Carrie's wallpaper'. " a weird world it is indeed when the Daily Mail is our policeman, defence lawyer and ultimate judge of the news agenda.

The even greater irony is that the majority consider themselves to be supremely kind, tolerant individuals – even though when it comes to opposing views they’re about as understanding as Anna Wintour might be when the intern brings her the wrong kind of coffee

They aren't racist. But the trouble is nowadays if you stray a millimetre away from the 'acceptable liberal line' you are labelled as such. So for example I think 'taking the knee' is a totally pointless and futile gesture that does nothing to eradicate racism but saying this probably makes me a racist.
