An overnight wipe out of several vehicles on the A27 at the Ashcombe (Kingston) roundabout, is still leaving chaos on the A27 on and off all the way to the West Hove turn off.

With knock-on effects - an A259 jam from Denton Corner to Ovingdean, plus Plumpton/Westerham/Ditchling Beacon are experiencing very heavy traffic.

Traffic at Falmer on A27 absolutely stuffed.

A27 shut going east from stadium.

Accident investigation.

If any team coaches or ref cars get stuck then kickoff won't be at 3.

Bielsa will part the traffic like Moses. I'm more concerned about Grealish hearing about the accident as he might have to "anticipate contact" from 150 miles away. That will probably lead to VAR storing up a penalty for the next time we play them.

The bus to nets this morning was diverted via Woodingdean, Rottingdean and Newhaven. I must say that it was a pleasant drive at 7.30. Not so pleasant for the poor sods in the accident - what horrendous news

The top 2 stories on the monstrosity of a website that is The Argus', feature cars on their roofs.



It would seem the driver in Tarring was considerably more fortunate than those on the A27.
Although that crash does beg the question 'how can your car put another on it's roof outside The Downsview pub'?
