Noticed that prices seem to have shot up generally. Rookwood is still cheap, Any other suggestions for a decent course at a decent price. Especially with cheap rates for app's.

Clandon Golf (not to be confused with Clandon Regis) if you are towards Guildford. Quite a new course opened in 2008. An odd story of development potential but planning issues - so no clubhouse, no putting green, 2-balls only (well it was last year), front 9 pretty easy and bland, newer back 9 stunning i.e driving over quarries really interesting holes. Book online only. £14 a round. If you pay for 9 they'll only let you play the front 9.

Singing hills is nice . No idea of prices , I went a few years back with a member .
