Fiveways
Sanchez 8 -- calm
White 7.5 -- great game, one poor pass, but top defending, was left in the lurch by Veltman for the second yellow
Dunk 8
Webster 5.5 -- gave the ball away too much
Veltman 8 -- fantastic stuff again, all apart from the error for White's dismissal
Bissouma 8.5 MotM -- bossed it
Gross 8 -- put such a shift in
Burn 6.5 -- some good stuff, some not so good
Trossard 5.5 -- quiet
Mac Allister 5 -- quieter
Welbeck 7 -- so close twice in the same move

Subs:
Lallana 7.5 -- intense pressing, could have done better with those two efforts
Maupay 7 -- more good harrying
Moder n/a

We looked so solid. The only chances Chelsea had resulted from our defenders' poor passing. A top point.

Sanchez had a bit to do. He just made it look easy. Coolest keeper i have ever seen play for us and that includes Perry Digweed!

I agree with most but would put Tross 6.5 as did do some nice things and I think Mac actually looked decent on the ball and would go 7 for him. Webster made 3 or 4 very poor passes but settled well - I think it was pure rustiness.

I’d swop Biss and Gross’ scores and make Gross MOTM but otherwise agree.

Really can’t see the low scores for MacAllister who may well have been our best player first half. Perhaps not so influential second, but for me in a good team performance is deserving of a 7. Struggling to understand the number of 5’s awarded.

Agreed. Mac Allister delivered some incisive passing. Just wish he could get on the ball more.

White gets a bonus point in my book for the 2nd yellow which saved us a point.
We’ve lost a lot of points this season because we didn’t engage the cynical tactical foul that the likes of Man City use every game.
Thinking Palace in particular!!!! Well done Ben - and before anyone moans it is and always has been part of the game

It may have done. Still plenty for Chelsea to do to score

Broadly I agree, it was a good decision and it was nice to see us not be so nice

Yes quite. I am thinking that he is developing more of a physical edge to his game which has improved him as a player. Good to see.
