During lockdown and doing so much working from home audiences have rocketed for daytime TV, and there are some absolute gems amongst our saytime schedules, but what is NSC's favourite daytime show?

???

I did forget the much loved and revamped Ready, Steady Cook

:nono:

Although the excellent Rylan is hosting which is an improvement on Fern Britton the new chefs don't seem as good as the old clan like Lesley Waters and Brian Turner.

These days you catch them in the evening also, but.

Escape to the Chateau
Helicopter ER

I try not to watch daytime TV after Breakfast, it's a waste of a day.

The wife has developed a love affair with Escape to the Chateau over the past few months,

It looks like l've lost her to Dick Strawbridge. :ffsparr:

We made a rule at the beginning of lockdown that the telly won’t go on until 6 pm . Kept it up for most of it, but we have watched the odd film.

Oh, and football at the weekend, if the games are ones I’m interested in.

Just looking at that list, the only programmes I have seen are Escape to the Country, and A place in the Sun.

Antiques Roadtrip.

Laidlaw is my hero.

Love him and Anita "thirty pounds" Manning out together. I think she is the only one to have a victory over Laidlaw and she holds the record for the biggest ever win. Cracking prog; repeats on Really tv in the evenings.

I've liked it from the beginning, including the spin offs where they're essentially helping others.

Bloody Strawbridge, he's put pressure on husbands to be experts at DIY/construction.

Laidlaw selling his gear at Anita’s auction room is basically a license to print money. She’s a canny salesman and he’s a genius.

Me too. I’ve already booked tickets for their roadshow in Worthing next February. I have a duvet set, calendar, the first book and a jigsaw puzzle from their online shop.

Love Homes Under the Hammer still.

Gone down the tubes a bit recently since Dion Dublin joined and all the buyers seem to be builders who can completely rebuild a place in 2 weeks for 1,000 quid.

I love The West Wing and like you have watched it many times.
Recently though I've been watching it and then listening to the West Wing Weekly podcast where they talk about each episode, Joshua Malina (Will in the show) picks up on so many plot holes and gaffs that its kind of ruining the whole show now.
