Dunk 7 -- decent effort with his head, caused problems with our corners, cleared it well with theirs, some incisive passing

Everton really offered nothing. That said, they were so well organised defensively, with some great blocks and performances. Godfrey looks some player, and Southgate has got plenty of inferior options that he picks in defence.
Great point to take us up to 15th though.

Sanchez n/a - not quite sure what there is to rate? Very calm evening.

White 7
Dunk 8 - think he was very good tonight, solid.
Veltman 7 - both him and White were solid in defense but didnt make a lot of opening passes tonight, which would have been needed to lock their defense up.

Gross 7 - great corners though nothing resulted in anything. Ok otherwise.
Bissouma 9 - king
Lallana 8
Moder 6 - bit hit and miss but did well considering he is really not a lwb

Trossard 7 - invisible at times but good when he was involved

Welbeck 7 - some tidy stuff and good pressure
Maupay 5 - worst game in 2021, did well to find spaces in the crowded last third of the pitch but lacked a bit of sharpness in his passes and shots

Essentially why we didn’t win the game.
A point is ok, but with a more proactive and clinical approach we could have had all three. There was nothing coming back, after all.

That was a masterclass from Bissouma. Had that overhead kick gone in it would have been a perfect 10. That clean tackle from behind, just outside our box, in the second half was perfectly executed, his general defensive work, tackling and harassing was brilliant to watch, his attack play and recycling of the ball outside their box was a joy.

Welbeck was a bit slow on a few occaisions, Maupay was poor, we just have no attacking effectiveness when a defense packs their box.

a clean sheet means the defense worked well.

OK performance, but overall a boring game. Certainly not one to attract anyone who is not a fan of one of the two teams.

As for Potter's subs. Why Ali J? What has he ever done when brought on as a sub?If he's going to bring on a striker, then surely Zequiri? And why Burn? Not sure how or what he was expected to contribute in ten minutes.

Agree about Biss - he was so good but still critically lost the ball for Iwobi's chance at the end (I think)
