Think the Stadium has cost nearer £200m, but you're right- an absolute bargain compared to the cost of footballers

They could refurb the inside but the railway line makes it pretty much impossible to increase capacity

It's a fascinating challenge for them. Liverpool's new stand is excellent. Got to be the way to go.
It's a bit of an elephant in the room with football stadiums - what do you do with the ones that are big enough but a bit tired?

I’ve heard old Trafford is in a real bad state, no refurbishment been done in years, the roof leaks in places as Glazier sweat the assets. I also read that St Andrew’s may get two stands condemned as not safe by Birmingham city council - again owners not spending money
