One can understand The PFA angle on this but what about clubs in both L1 and 2 and their current financial position. Do they actually have a budget or funds to cover this ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56666478
The PFA didn't want a drop in their income of players' wage levels dropped.
The PFA doesn't want a drop in its income if their are fewer players out there to pay subscriptions.
The PFA are looking after their own interests.


Long term this strategy mat fail if some clubs decide they cannot afford to continue to exist.

So clubs who play 20% more games with less fitness staff should have to have 80% of the players of the PL. I'm sure that makes sense
