Emergency only works after 5.30
It's also not that useful. I rang it a few months ago on a Friday night: I had to take a photo of my tooth, send it to the emergency dentist who told me that I had wait for my dentist to open and book an appointment!

If a broken tooth isn’t deemed an emergency it does ask the question what is.
Anything that exposes the nerve = emergency. A chip broken off is not an emergency.

They're one of the ones I tried - no new patients
If it can’t wait you have to bite the bullet (pun obviously intended) and go private. This happens to me when I had a emergency and was stuck in High Wycombe at the time.

I've only ever used NHS dentists. I used to go to one in Portland Road as it was handy for work, but since I retired I registered with a more local one.
