Reports coming in from Argentina, that we are trying to hijack a deal for Colombian striker Rafael Santos Borré from River Plate Argentina, to Gremio in Brazil. Apparently a deal has been agreed, but it is understood that a move to join Mac Allister in The Prem, is far more attractive to him.

Edit: The Argus piece is weird. Says the club is mystified by the report and then quotes a 'well known source'. That doesn't sound like the club made any comment at all.

That’s definitely a negative, but a big positive is that hardly anyone (including me) will have heard of him. Also, you just know his WAG will be at least an 8...

The highlights package comprises 5 mins of him just banging in goals. And none of the goals appear to be repeated from several angles and they haven't bothered including loads of near misses.

And most encouragingly, about half the goals are from about 6 yards out.
Senór Borré looks to be a genuine 'fox in the box'.

Looks like he can finish and is good in the air. Really hard to tell from a short highlights reel of course.

He does look a little slow to me, but I trust the clubs recruitment who 9 times out of 10 have hit it out the park.

Not too horny about this one. I remember him being labelled "the new Falcao" when he moved to Atletico but it didnt turn out to be the case. Could still be good of course but my immediate thought is "no thanks".
