Just for us statto nerds - Anthony Taylor refereed us for the 9th time in the Premier League and we haven't lost any of them (W2 D7). Andy Madley (P4 W2 D2) and Peter Bankes (P2 W1 D1) are the only other 2 refs in which we've not lost either when they've been in charge.

We went a fourth league game in a row without a booking. Last time that happened was between 12th Feb and 1 Mar 2008 back in League 1.

I'm in shock over such a great performance and result that I needed to calm down by finding something obscure:lolol:, another one might occur after our next home game....watch this space!:albion2:

And I didn’t think he gave us much. The foul in the first half against Moder. The Newcastle player kicked Moder. Dubravkas “injury” was just a roose to give Bruce a chance for a team talk.....

Playing snooker
Welbeck scored on 51 minutes. If ‘51’ was his squad number that would have been the same as his shirt number.

But it isn’t, so it wasn’t.

According to WhoScored.com, we made 666 short passes last night and 65 (so close!) long balls

Indeed, but he is shirt number 18. If you take 18 away from 51 you get 33. Dan Burn is shirt number 33 but couldn't start due to an injury concern. His place was taken by Jakub Moder who wears number 15. If you take 15 away from 33 you get number 18 which, as we know, is Danny Welbeck's number. How freaky is that?
