No not just the tactics and the playing 3 and pushing extra body’s forward to dominate from the start...

3rd hand info don’t know where from - think something to do with hotel but... Potter looked at our home form and the monotonous routine we were going through and not winning. Saw we seem to do better away and with the away matches routine. So he gets the whole squad to stay in a hotel last night to almost replicate an away game and do things differently and not just the same old match day routine. Gets the squad to get a bus into the ground at a later time - not so much waiting around etc etc - degree one psychology shining through - worked a bloody treat!

If true that is good psychology and pretty smart.

Not to put a downer on a great performance but they could have hit the minibar big time and still won Newcastle were that bad. That said still have to but the ball in the net and win the game.

We didn’t get out of 3rd gear really - but it was that dominant from us from the start - we deserved it. They were horrendous though I agree  About the same as Palace in terms of appalling football teams go.

We’d have beaten many teams like that if we’d taken our chances like we did tonight. Villa and Palace weren’t much better.

People have been saying that tonight. But that didn’t help us when we played Sheff Utd, Fulham, Palace, Brom.

The other team can be terrible. But you still have to finish. You still have to put them to the sword. We haven’t done that in many of the games we’ve dominated. Tonight we were clinical and took our chances.

Sounds like a good idea to break the comfort zone feeling of a home game and probably felt fun and refreshing too.
Well done potter,I may book myself into a local hotel for a home match, just for the craic!!
An away day at home, could be great fun!!

You better believe I’ve got olive branches bud.

None of them will see the branches as they don’t post when we win and have success

We were very good tonight and proved that we are so much better than at least four other teams in this division including Palace, Newcastle, West Brom and SheffU. We deserve to stay up.

Pretty sure it’s true  ;)

Sure someone on here would have heard similar.
Yep. Heard it as well. Well done to Potter and his team for planning this.

Palace were worse, and not saying that cos its Palace - they had 2 bloody touches in our penalty area ffs! And scored with both of them
