Former Shrewsbury Town midfielder and older brother of Phil Jagielka has passed away. Absolutely tragic, no age at all

I remember him playing at Barnet, taking a throw-in for Shrewsbury. "How do you pronounce THAT? It sounds like a fancy car!" shouted from the terraces, shown with respect.

While not as good as his brother, Phil, that's still devastatingly young to pass away. Thoughts with his family and friends at this sad time.

RIP Steve.

Extremely sad news, rest in peace Steve.

I have read several articles this morning and none mention him battling an illness.
Whatever the circumstances it is no age to leave family and friends.

RIP Steve, my dad's a Shrewsbury fan and will be deeply saddened. I remember watching him, he was decent.
