[Albion] Why don’t our loans have emergency recall clauses?

With Webster apparently crocked for the rest of the season it seems ludicrous that we can’t recall Clarke from Derby County?

Was it part of a rule change right across the leagues or didn’t we put it in the original deal?

Recalls are only possible during transfer windows except for keepers.

Recalls are only possible during transfer windows and also often the club who the player is being loaned to will not agree to a recall Loan agreement, so it’s up to the club whether they are happy to loan a player on that basis .

There were rumours we were going to recall Clarke at Xmas. Considering Lamptey was crocked and we were an injury away from Burn being first 11 that now looks like a horrible mistake.

Wouldn’t we be unable to add him to the 25 anyway?

Hayden Roberts we could, but he’s not good enough yet anyway.
