Lied about it till the last

He's finished
Absolutely no chance. He will be back on what ever channel he spouts his nonsense on and will either completely ignore this or just say the judge was lying and his little followers will lap it up.

Edit: and how predictable was that

It’s mental how people can get away with things and aren’t challenged on it. Quite remarkable.

Surely he isn’t the only presenter in the world? When someone has been shown to have questionable qualities why can’t he just stop getting jobs? He doesn’t need the money, let someone else do it.

So he lied about the phone hacking, he published faked pictures of British servicemen abusing Iraqi prisoners,

I would love it if the nasty little twat was sent down. Love it

Seems to be a tacit acknowledgment, from the weapons grade ****, that he knew and endorsed phone hacking.

Piers Morgan found to be a lying turd by a judge just hours after we win the Europa group?

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.

Just heard Morgan's statement on radio, and he made it sounds like in the 9 years he was editor (or something) there was only one story where the court ruled that information might (not was) have been obtained illegally, and he's never known how the information was obtained.

His statement seems at odds with everything else reported on the trial.

No, in his statement he says he didn't know.

It is quite amusing that in order to deny he did anything illegal he basically has to admit to being absolutely terrible at his job

I didn't realise he'd worked with Omid Scobie before. Looking back at the highly personal and critical way he speaks about Scobie when discussing Scobie's relationship with Harry and Meghan now makes a lot more sense. I thought it was just generalised bias and hatred alongside jealousy and a desperation for Royal recognition, but perhaps it was more because Scobie seems to have given evidence against him for hacking.

No, in his statement he says he didn't know.
Note sure, he says he doesn't know in regards to that particular case only, not hacking more generally:

"To be clear, I had then and still have zero knowledge of how that particular story was gathered."

And he may not know, but that doesn't mean he doesn't strongly suspect.

His statement is trying to give the impression he didn't know and had nothing to do with anything. If the judge said that Morgan had anything to do with anything, then Morgan has tried to ignore that in his statement.

You never know. Piers M.Organ might still get a Christmas card from the NRA, inviting him to be a celebrity target for their AGM.

Harry's statement post trial is remarkably candid about the role of Mr Morgan and names him specifically as being implicated and that he should be investigated by the police and the Stock Exchange among others for criminality due to perjury along with Reach PLC... will it happen ? I would love to think so but sadly, the system will probably fail again.
