Yes, I keep thinking - here comes another 1-1 draw. And then we lose.
I don’t think it really was, but did himself no favours remonstrating with himself for the error, rather than screaming about a foul and chasing the ref, etc. Would at least have forced a closer VAR scrutiny. Worth a shot.
I think you miss the point. Every other team WOULD have screamed for a foul, and there’s a (small) chance, they might have got it. Whether you think there WAS a foul (I don’t) isn’t the point.
That's a very good point, for me Sanchez should have done a lot better though, still it happens to all the top keepers from time to time, as an aside I really can't see us holding on to him he is real quality.
