[Albion] How often do we get “the second goal”?

When was the last time we went 2-0 up, Newcastle?

Honestly think this is the root of a lot of our issues. Having a slender 1 goal lead in the PL is asking a lot, you basically have to get a clean sheet every week to win.

We seem far too concerned with scoring the perfect goal that we forget that you need to supplement the well worked beautiful goals with some of the ugly/fortunate ones. Sometimes it’s okay to play a bit long ball, sometimes it’s okay to pepper the box with crosses rather than all the tip tappy stuff around the edge. We also don’t shoot from range, at all, far too scared or focused on trying for a Barcelona style goal

It’s been noticeable how much we’ve sat back whenever we’ve gone in front this season and it’s barely ever worked. It seems like a long time ago that Potter brought on Maupay and Andone when we were 1-0 up at Watford.....

Bissouma puts them in row Z fairly regularly.
