So if they close would you trust a Central point to deal with your prescriptions?

The one I use is always busy but they are the polar opposite of the one closest to me in terms of dealing with my repeat medication. If I ran a business the way my old pharmacy is run It would have gone bust a long time ago.

My ex Mrs had some very specialist ms medication that was sent out from somewhere in Kent every couple of months and delivered direct, never had a problem in the 8 years using it.

This reminds me of Westdene Seagulls posts stating all Brighton taxi drivers are rude to him and his wife. Yet I find them mainly polite and helpful

:lolol:

You ever thought of going on the stage ? You'll be inundated with vegetables to take home. I'm so sorry that you don't like my experience of the very poor service local Brighton and Hove cabbies provide. Instead I prefer to prevail myself of a decent taxi service known as Uber .... cheaper and most importantly better quality. I find it slightly strange that such a self proclaimed middle class* socialist deems Uber below them because they drive down prices and hence wages but decides to fly via Easyjet - who do exactly the same and then also add on top that they claim to carbon neutral .... which they are not !

* I added this because while you claim to be working class you clearly are not.

Don’t take Herr Flick seriously, he’s just on the wind up most of the time, he explains it better than me below

My local pharmacy is utterly useless

Always making mistakes with prescriptions, never had my meds in stock so I switched to another about a mile down the road and had no problems in the last 18 months.

pharmacist used to be a 6 yr university course , what you have now is duncan( the uni grad) from middlesex who owns 35 chemists throughout the south of england , duncan will employ teenagers and general cheap labour , he recently bought a super yacht and is looking at property in the emirates and bermuda , duncans god father is an mp and lives on a large estate in bedfordshire ......he visits his shops only when necessary.

At least you didn’t question my socialism.

One suspects our Chick may simply be having his own attitude reciprocated as he wonders from pharmacy to pharmacy encountering rudeness at every turn :lolol:

I don't recall ever having a bad experience at a pharmacy. They have always greeted me with the appropriate degree of courtesy. I find a smile and a cheery hello often sets the tone for the encounter.

you will find that if you wander into a chemist asking for tiny condoms people will still be nice to you , not everyone has it in them to be a **** all the time....:lolol::kiss: sorry mate but you walked in to that .

Here’s your dummy back and perhaps we can have your thoughts on Pharmacies instead of you derailing the thread as you originally did with your pretend humour [emoji6][emoji6]

There would still need to be a qualified pharmacist in every shop..........

yes one qualified pharmacist and a load of under paid teenagers ... it's the way of the world unfortunately , greed is tightening it's grip on everyone and there is a lot of m"look over there" going on to keep us distracted from the fact that we are slowly but surely getting screwed.

Fair enough..... but your post seemed to be implying they didn’t even need a Pharmacist.........
