It is the earliest we have ever been confirmed safe.

1st season - one game to spare
2nd season - 2 games to spare
3rd season - 1 game to spare

2017/18 The table wasn't as neat... https://www.northstandchat.com/show...7-18-Edition&p=8443937&viewfull=1#post8443937 looking at the history books, we played our 36th game that season when we became mathematically safe (victory over man utd). Not sure how many games the others had played.

Quite right, we survived, last night due to Fulham’s defeat, despite our poor results. I , for one, do not want to see the Albion bumping along the bottom of the Premiership indefinitely. We have now a team that on their day can match the best. It is just a question of doing that.........regularly...
