Some good surname connections in there. Surely we can find a Lake and Palmer. And form a Supergroup with Nilsson. Offiah and Jackson references write themselves.

Are these actual goals or expected goals you are posting.

So hard these days to see what is more important?

Interesting - no Evan Ferguson in the squad.

who is going to be partnering him upfront against Leicester?

Has only played once for the u18s, 5 times for the u23s. Management seem keen to fast-track him/ have Emmerson as our u18 striker. Impressive to have that much trust for a 16 year old though you worry this is sacrificing some of his development. Fingers crossed its the right decision!

Excellent result but still unclear why there is such a paucity of coverage on the Albion website - the match centre just updated as goals were scored and the Twitter feed wasn’t much better. Definitely a missed opportunity - glad that the forwards are taking theirs!

Anyone know anymore about Joshua Duffus on the bench?

He is a forward who can play centrally or on the wings. Was in the Palace youth system before playing for Lambeth Tigers. He joined Albion during 2017-18, his U-13 schoolboy season.

He scored 43 goals and had 13 assists at U-14 level, and scored 16 goals with 3 assists the following season. He is an Arsenal fan.

He has been offered his scholarship to commence this summer.

Just 4 years since we lost 13-0 to Chelsea in this league. Even considering Chelsea are, by their standards, having a rare off season at this level, this is a measure of how much the academy has improved.

We are in with an excellent chance of improving on our highest finish to date of 5th. Winning the division remains a possibility. Then we would face the winners of the U18 North division for a chance to become national champions and earn a place in next season's UEFA youth league.

Mind-boggling knowledge, thank you again. No idea if this compares well to other players at youth level but sounds brilliant! Sounds like the perfect replacement for the likes of Everitt and Miller who assume will move up to the u23s next year (if they make the cut).

On that note... who do you think will/ won't make the cut from the u18 up to the u23s next season of the 18 year olds? (I realise some of the 16/17 year olds may make the jump also)
