Please for the love of god sort it next season.

I'm not being shortist, but powder puff players against big burley defenders won't work.............:annoyed:

Should be a priority. Unfortunately a lot of clubs are looking for the exact same thing.

Connolly didn’t miss an open goal from 6 yards because he’s not tall.

Maupay didn’t side-foot for a throw-in from 5 yards, because he’s not bulky.

Groß’ size didn’t cause him to lift his penalty too high.

Wellbeck’s strength didn’t force him to hit his too wide.

The missing characteristic our forwards are short of is QUALITY.

Yaremchuk is the one. 6ft 3 but plays more of a false 9.
Great long shot, great in the air, really good passer.
East European toughness.
Could've gone for less that 20 million Euros in Jan. He won't score 20 a season but he'll get enough, and contribute more, and gives defenders much more to worry about than our current crop.

Welbeck, needs a run

Does he?

He’s been stealing a living for a decade, based on a reputation burnished by a few International goals against Malta and San Marino.

Neal Maupay scored more Premier League goals in a struggling Brighton team last season, than Wellbeck has ever managed in his entire career - playing for the best clubs in the country.

Welbeck, needs a run

Whenever I've seen Welbeck play, he's looked very poor. A run in the side won't help. The simple fact is his best days are well behind him and I'm not sure he's had too many of those either. The words "only here for the money" spring to mind. Even Watford didn't want him ffs.

My Welbeck suggestion has gone down well then :lolol:

Tbf to myself, I was thinking this season given no one is coming in, not next

Fair enough. But do you really think Welbeck looks interested?

That’s a coaches responsibility to sort.

We have the strikers we have, I think he’s as good as any we have, and if the ask was tall and bulky I think he’s on his own. But I wish for Andone back ASAP, hopefully Potter is not too proud and picks him
