He loves his footy analogies. Tonight, whilst extoling the success of the vaccination progress, was trying to get us to reign it in, and stay following all the rules. Said imagine you are 3-0 up at HT. Said "How many times have you seen this been reversed and you "loose" the game."

Most in England would probably think, "well, hardly ever? Good shout - party time"

I trust we in Sussex understand better.

3-0 up cannot be safely defended........(I prefer 4 at HT to "enjoy" the second half)

Should have said 2-0 up. Most dangerous lead in global pandemics, or something.

Yep 2-0 would have been better. 3-0 at HT is a win in most minds (apart from albion)
This thing is not over yet. Think vaccines and lock down are winning against Covid,
Need to minimise time before unlock though as life needs to get to somewhere normal?
