If Fulham lose to Palace on the weekend I think we'll be safe because I don't think they'll get the 10 or 12 points they'll need to over take us. They have a tough end to the season. I have a feeling we'll hit 35 points and that will be enough.

I refuse to do it, as quite clearly we’re down, Porter has lost the dressing room.

I’ll be surprised if we finish about The Blades.

I don’t think anyone who saw the game last night (or even looked at the stats) could say that Potter has lost the dressing room. I understand the feeling of black depression after the result, but it’s clear the players are playing for him.

Roy knew what he’d be facing, came with a game plan to nullify our attack (too easy to do at the moment) and his players took both of their two opportunities.

The last two games we’ve been punished by late defensive errors. It’s really frustrating, and hopefully Potter will be looking at this, as well as rethinking our attacking play. When he says “I don’t think we did a lot wrong first half” he’s wrong. Our attacking play was slow, predictable and allowed Palace to organise their defence. Where Potter does frustrate me is that he seems to equate possession with success, instead of goals.

Goals in the Premier League are tough to come by, and to give our attacking players a chance, we need attacks to move quickly and culminate in an attempt on goal before the opposition can set their defence.

I still think there’s been huge improvement in our style of play, we’re definitely getting chances, we just need to work on getting our attacking players some chances where the box isn’t already packed with opposition defenders. It’s clear that most teams are able to deal with our crosses and corners into a packed box fairly easily.

You are absolutely right with your comments about the first half. We were slow in build up, and all too often went from side to side with the ball with none of our players mixing it up by going through the middle. Bissouma was poor by his standard, but to be fair I remember at least two occasions where he drifted past Palace players centrally, layed it off to another midfielder and was crying out for the ball back to his feet in a yard of space around 18-20 yards out. Our midfielders never seemed to consider a return pass, happy to spray it wide to absolutely no effect. This is why we don't score, it's all so predictable.

I don't think he's lost the dressing room, but I do think he could be losing his mind?

Just 4 more points from 13 games? - forgive me if I don't want any of what you're on!

I do apologise I am in an extremely pessimistic mood at the moment....

It will pass, I am thinking of going for a long walk on Saturday afternoon and for the first time this lockdown not even watch the match...
I just fear the worst now, things are never simple supporting this bloody team.

i let the pooter guess other games. 36 points is a realistic total I think.

If we get a point at Arsenal, 37, and we'd stast up on goal difference, that's how much fun its going to be.

I think I'm right in saying we've played 139 PL games and amassed 143 points. Under Potter we have played 63 and have 67 points. Even at our worse through 2020, we were still hitting around 1ppg.

In objective logical terms, your fear doesn't come from the team, it comes from your own irrational pessimism. The team actually have been remarkably consistent, very difficult to beat. I still think we'll better last season's 41 pts.
