I read somewhere that you get free parking when you go for the vaccine. Is this correct.?

yep

Park in the orange car park (Churchill 1), which is located in Regency Road East, BN1 2RU. The vehicle height restriction is 2.13m
Enter the car park via lane 1 (left hand lane)
On arrival take a ticket from the car park barrier
Explain to the Churchill Square Security Officer that you are attending the Brighton Centre for a COVID-19 vaccination. You will need to provide proof of vaccination appointment for that day (showing the confirmation you have received on your phone is fine).
The security officer will then validate your ticket.

Can you be a bit less vague? This is important.

You have to go in via the front door so it does entail a walk around the block but you leave by the back door.

Wheelchairs are available by the front door if needed.

There yesterday. About 35 minutes from walking through the front to leaving out the back. They do ask if you are driving home or have a lift. Those alone are asked to stay a few minutes extra just to check. To be honest, after walking down from car park, sitting down afterwards and walking back may take just over an hour.
I got dropped off along the road and traffic wardens are very strict. Took number down whilst I got out the car and daughter took over driving.
