I have just read on the Brighton People Facebook page that Disco Pete has died. He was &4.

So many festivals and events have been highlighted by his infectious enthusiasm. He was a true Brighton legend.

RIP old fella.

Ah no, what a shame. Local hero of mine. Did lots of good in the community, will be sadly missed for sure!

RIP. I remember him well - he was caretaker at Stanford infants school when my kids were there, and I was a school governor. The kids all adored him.

RIP Disco Pete.
Missed this thread yesterday. Just been informed by my daughter who remembers him during his heyday at various carnivals when she was a child.
