I certainly agree we need to rest a few. A good cup run would be nice but some of those players were dead on their feet at the end.

Walton, Tau, Moder, Zeqiri and Alzate should all be starting for me.

Definitely want to see some of those on the periphery given a chance, and some of the younger lads.

Not that bothered about the result, but the fa cup remains useful for rotation. Hopefully a good chance for those currently not in the team to show what they can do against a very good opposition. And if we win, then great!

1. Leicester have one day's less rest than us and a tough match against Liverpool next up.
2. Leicester also played largely a 2nd XI vs Brentford in the previous round.

I would be surprised if they played their big players, and might only start 3 or 4 1st XI. Therefore, I'd look to play a strong side while resting Maupay, Gross, Bissouma.

Won’t be doing a PPP for the cup game but boy, some of our players need a rest.

I suspect this won’t be enough to be competitive against Leicester but we must rest our big players prior to the home match vs Villa (sorry Joel, Ben & Dan, your back-up is all out on loan).

It's hard to contemplate resting Lewis Dunk but man he looked tired today. Yes he grabbed the goal but there were several shots of him looking completely gassed.

His team played him there more due to injuries in that position, though they saw him more as a central midfielder. He's actually right-footed too. The reason I put him on the right is because he's likely going to be an option covering Lamptey, so good idea to give him some games on that side of the pitch
