[Albion] Earliest / Quickest Albion sending off?

What's the earliest an Albion player has been sent off, leaving us a man down for the longest time?

And also the quickest when on as a sub? I remember Calde being sent off at Elland Road something like five minutes after he came on in 2013 (The El -Hadji Diouf game).

The earliest I remember was Dunk at Palace in 2012ish.

Edit: 8th minute December 2012.

Although Knockaert should have gone in the first minute a couple of years back.

Rod Thomas got sent off very early in a game at Mansfield. Possibly 5 minutes in.

But then Richie Barker who has gone to Macclesfield (?) turned up on the away terrace, So it wasn’t all bad.

Didn't The Hawk get sent off minutes after coming on against Stockport? IIRC we had another player off that day too

Another Brighton leg end. I saw him score a goal in a 1-5 defeat to Millwall in the Freight Rover trophy at Pissfilled. It was emotional.

Just checked. Was definitely at Scunthorpe. Came on with 1 minute of normal time left and was sent off after 59 seconds without touching the ball (during Jeff Wood’s terrible run of defeats in 1999).

Gary Elphick? First game, I think - first tackle and off.

Edit: apparently he played twice for us - but that sending off was just about his first involvement in the game, and I don't think he played for us again.

Good for him that after that he got to the PL before we did!

Didn't he run straight on, commit a foul giving away a harsh penalty and get sent off? Effectively running directly from the dugout to the dressing room over in that corner! He also ran on the pitch before subbed on, he seemed incredibly nervous.
