What an absolute waste of 60mins of his time tonight. Delighted from our point of view but he looked completely disintereted and spent most of the time he was on strolling around looking like he was counting up how much he was earning per minute.

How much must Spurs be forking out for that waste of space? He makes our signing of Locadia look good.

How the mighty have fallen.

a galaxy far far away
Decent clearance off the line.

But yeh, generally looks like he couldn't care less. Which he can't

Been well past his best for a long time now. Injuries, he lost that pace, eons spent on the golf course in Madrid as Zidane froze him out.

Started tonight by Moureen to prove a point to Levy (and Bale) that he doesn’t rate him as a Spurs player. Bizarre isn’t it.

He could not have cared less and ran off as quickly as he could. He was disinterested and bored, no wonder he hasn't played more games and his career is over if that's how little he cares about playing the game and just banking the pay each month. It's a sad waste of talent. Think of the players whose careers have been cut short, and here's Bale who obviously doesn't care about the game any more.

At least Sky didn’t pay much attention to him before or after the game - that would be even more a criminal waste of time..........

Bale really looks poor now. No wonder Real Madrid wanted rid of him.

The guy is too rich and has no interest in playing for an also ran after years at the true elite of world football. A shocking waste of money. How long is his contract?

Has already made his dosh, almost certainly far more than any NSCer will ever do, so guess he can do as much or little as he wishes for the rest of his puff.

Whether anyone else wants to try to motivate him is up to them, doesn't look like Spuds are doing so.

He's basically their version of Locadia, but at least we got away with it because nobody noticed how shite he was

To be fair he was playing as a centre forward and got bugger all service.

He needs a run in a team to get back in form. All this stop-start stuff isn't going to work.

He has lost a lot of speed. He had a race with Gross I believe and Gross came in on top!!!!

Pace gone due to injuries. Reminds me of Michael Owen who in his early 20's was a really a exciting player. By 25/27 still a effective finisher but not much more than that.
