Once King Percy of Tau arrived, his followers made the long journey to the Albion's Facebook page. They also settled in Twitter. Tauism has become an official religion and, despite a few cultural miss-understandings, we have slowly come to accept what will be will be. They have even cloaked themselves in the Seagull banner and launched invasions of other club's pages. Let's face it, most of us don't bother putting in tuppence on the club's official feed anyway. It's not a place for the best of discourse.

It is wondered whether the Tauists chased our Persian footballing friends from their natural home. Little mention of AJ now. Maybe Iranian football has a new golden star.

But what is this new development ?

Whenever the Albion post an entry on the page it is greeted with death by a thousand angry emojis. No matter the subject, the response is the same. Even to the best of news.

A more forensic look tells us that nearly all of these wrathful folk come from the Lebanon. Yet they merely mark their facial expression and leave us no clue as to the reason for their ire.

Are these but mercenaries on behalf of a disgruntled person unknown ? Is a rival team's fanbase starting a red-faced emoji proxy war ?

Who are the Lebanese Brighton Un-fan club ?

Angry at the non-selection of Reda Khadra

Oh, well, that's answered that one. :lolol:

I was hoping to here of a new social media proxy war conducted from the bowels of Selhurst Park.
