It will end when certain people accept that times change. Go back over the years and it was ok to thump and rape your wife, beat your kids, drink and drive and be a racist and say what you wanted because that was your right as a man... maybe this "anti- woke " crap is the last hurrah for all the dinosaurs stuck in the past?
It will end when people say " you know what, that seemed ok at the time but now I look at that and think .. that was bad. " ... Obviously that isn't going to happen with the usual suspects on here who are going to push the envelope of " Free- Speech " " i can say what I like 'cos I was in the services " etc etc.

I appreciate that times have changed but surely we just can't whitewash history and popular culture of a certain time just to appease the woke brigade?

Honestly if they left it in as they have been doing previously since UK Gold began broadcasting in 1993, how many people would actually have complained?

I think these programs should be left alone and not edited. I also think you should get a life.

If people are so desperate for the return of this sort of thing you could always do your own Minstrels revival show. If there are so many people who crave such entertainment, it should go down a storm.

The problem is, if you laugh at anything these days they throw the book at you. You can't say anything.

Entirely upto the brewery what they name their boozer. Ultimately when we have totally erased tradition the world will be a much better place right?
(I’ve never drank in a boozer called Bameboys... does that make me a racialist?)
