Walton 6 Fine
Veltman 5. Bit careless today
Dunk and Webster 6
Burn 6
Propper 6 some nice passes
Bissouma 7 lovely goal
Tau 3. Piss poor today
Macallister 5 I like that he shoots but he needs to work on his accuracy
Alzate 5 meh
Zequiri 4 I’m perplexed at how this guy is in the first team picture. He Tries hard but plays like the Swiss div 2 player that he is. Surely we need someone with a stronger CV

Subs
Maupay 3 crap finishing
Trossard 4
March 6
Gross 5

Terrible game, so many missed chances but we got the win!

Jahanbaksh isn't the answer to all our problems and has flaws for sure but he is capable of contributing SOMETHING at premier league level and yet Zequiri & Tau are being played ahead of him? Very obvious that neither is even close to the required standard. At least they were both cheap.

Walton 6 - decent save from the free kick, very ordinary distribution

Veltman 6 - wish he’d move the ball quicker
Dunk 6 - poor passing today
Webster 6- would have liked to have seen him bring it out of defence more
Burn 5 - not good enough

Propper 6 - better in the 2nd half when taking up positions on the RHS
Bissouma 7 - Great goal, but should have done better for theirs
Alzate 5 - very rusty, lethargic on the ball
Macallister 6 - so much more effective when playing in the middle as he was 2nd half

Zeqiri 5 - ran around a lot, never looked like scoring
Tau 5 - doesn’t look like he knows what to do with the ball

Maupay 5 - I love him but he can’t keep missing those chances
Trossard 5 - just does so many infuriating things
Gross 5 - missed a great chance to put the game to bed
March 7 - our best player when he came on

Was hoping to see Tau and Zeqiri score their first goals for the club, and for Moder to get some minutes. Pretty terrible win.

Absolutely this. Zequiri is not good enough to play in the Championship, let alone the Premier League.

You must have watched it on a different channel to me. Veltman was silky and smooth, he looked class. MacAllister looked assured and Biss took his goal well. There were some averagely crap performances, notably Tau could not get into it, Zeqiri needs a goal and when trossard came on he went from fantastic to Belgian league back to fantastic and then pub league...such a frustrating player.
Loads of shots on goal, but less than a fifth on target. That's where it has got to improve

Fair enough . He went from six to seven , now back to six!
I thought he did alright. He’s just very limited
Veltmans rating is by his usual high standards

Poor, lazy performance.

Walton 6. Decent save in the first half but didn’t have much else to do.

Veltman 7. Our only attacking outlet in the first half.
Dunk 6. Gave the ball away cheaply once or twice in the first half and perhaps could have done better with his chance from a first half corner. Otherwise fine. One nice moment of taking the ball out of defence in the 2nd half.
Webster 6. Solid as ever
Burn 6. Gave away a careless free kick on the the edge of the penalty area but apart from that was ok.
Alzate 5. As above, a bit underwhelming.

Propper first half I’d give him 4, second half 6.
Bissouma 7 stunning goal. Wasteful with a few other chances otherwise his usual imperious self in the middle of the park.

Tau 4. Below par after an exciting debut. Movement on the wing was causing them problems in the opening 20 minutes or so but then went more central which I found baffling.
Macallister 5. Nice to see players shooting from distance. First half, like most of our players, he was underwhelming but improved.

Zequiri 5 lot of running and endeavour but doesn’t look up to speed with the pace of the English game yet. Look forward to seeing more of him as he acclimatises.

Subs
Maupay 4 should have buried that sitter. Good running but poor finishing
Trossard 4 He was direct but then his passing seemed all over the shop. Lovely cross that Gross should have scored from
March 6. Only sub that improved the side. Gave us a better outlet on the left than we’d had all game
Gross 4. Should have scored from Trossard’s cross. Would have rather seen Khadra or Moder tbh.

Walton 6: Not much to do other than a solid save in the first half. Looks uncomfortable with the ball at his feet.
Veltman 7: Possibly our best player today. Offered a decent attacking threat and defended well.
Webster 6: Solid enough.
Dunk 6: Solid enough.
Burn 6: Solid enough.
Bissouma 6.5: Great strike. Accompanied by a lot of the more familiar wild strikes. Played within himself but did enough.
Propper 6: Some good runs from deep. Getting himself fully fit and up to speed.
Tau 5: Some heavy touches and poor passes.
Ally Mac 6: popped up in some good positions
Alzate 5: had little effect on the game but good to see him fit/well enough to get 60 minutes under his belt.
Zeqiri 5: Worked hard. Not ready for this level yet. Should go out on loan.

Subs:
Trossard 6: looked bright at times. At others put in some terrible balls.
March: 6 Solid
Maupay 6: should have scored.
Gross: not on long enough.

Job done.

Mac is coming on nicely now but his shooting was glaringly poor today and definitely not assured . He had at least three very presentable chances . All were way off.

Walton 6 Confident, shame the rest of the team where mentally all ready in the changing room for the 46’ Blackpool goal

Veltman 7 Deserves to be keeping his place in the staring lineup imho
Dunk 7
Webster 6.5
Burn 5.5

Propper 6
Bissouma 7.5 great goal, tried it a couple more times though where it didn’t come off...
Macallister 7 should be starting alongside Bissouma and probably Propper too now as the first choice three midfielders.

Tau 5
Alzate 5.5 would be nice to see him have a run of games, and then judge him after that.
Zequiri 6 potential, but not much more than that

Interesting to see GP making 3 simultaneous subs at 2-1 I thought

Subs
Maupay 5 wasteful again today.
Trossard 6
March 6.5
Gross 5.5

I’m almost underwhelmed. The game didn’t even get me properly agitated, which I suppose is an improvement...

Walton 6 alright
Veltman 7 seemed to be involved a lot going forward, needed a better player than Tau to link up with. Particularly good 1st half.
Dunk 6 & Webster I think both CBs headed over decent chances from corners early in the game, didn't offer much going forwards, handled a div 1 attack reasonably well
Burn 6 alright/ bang average
Propper 6 5 first half, 7 second half
Bissouma 8 MOM ahead of Veltman for making me all happy for a bit
Alzate 5 if that's what how he looks in training it explains why he's not been playing
Macallister 7 might be a bit high but he was a bit better than the players I've given a 6
Tau 5 might be a bit harsh but he wasn't as good as the players I've given a 6
Zeqiri 5 looks to be well down a list of a less than inspiring attacking players

March just about the pick of the subs who all squandered opportunities to put the game to bed against a tiring and stretched div 1 team

dodgy stream site 7 a solid 90mins with only a couple of glitches

Potter made timely, positive substitutions, but they didn't deliver

oh well
