Without using Google, what's the point in that , can you name the ten oldest English clubs ?

Most should know at least one I'd be surprised if anyone gets number 5 , I took the test and failed miserably getting 4 out of 10 .

Boredom strikes again but at least I can still see my willy .

Will post the official ten in order later tonight.

Notts County and Burnley are pretty old. Massive are too I think.

Football didn't 'really' start until 1901. enee fule kno that.

Theres a really good Netflix series called "The English Game"-dramatized true story of the beginnings of the FA and the very start of professionalism. Great watch, its set in the 1880s. Surprising the clubs that were around then and still around today. Several of the clubs will be on the oldest list as they are in the league today.

Munich are old, not Beyern . . . .1860. there's a clue in the name.

They were a sports club in 1860. The football team was formed in 1899.

Brighton factually.....
My best guess, is seeing as it was mainly the northern towns formed clubs and southern starters were mainly colleges & universities as follows.
Burnley
Preston
Blackpool
Sheffield Wednesday
Bury
Huddersfield
Notts County
Bolton Wanders
Everton
Barnsley

Clapton's ground, the Old Spotted Dog in Forest Gate, is the oldest in continuous use! So I've been told. Although that doesn't answer the question.
