It’s just a thoroughly beautiful goal on so many levels. And I’m more than happy to write about it again.

Gross’s deft, but quite genius first touch lay off. Ben White starting to show more confidence. The majesty of MacAllister effortlessly taking the ball in his stride, dummying the shot but setting up the one two. And Maupay timing his run perfectly.

And it’s Graham Potter football. We’ve threatened these goals a lot, but boy is it satisfying to really execute it from the back like that. We did it before home to Everton. 90th minute even though technically an own goal. All the Potter hallmarks again, one touch football playing it out from the back.

Can all the Potter out gang at least admit this is a manager who likes to play football, you surely have to love this kind of panache, this swagger of play. More results will come.
