Can Leicester do it again?
You cannot really safely rule out any of the top 7 as it stands
In an uncertain world Leicester are still great value

Current approx odds

Man City 4/5
Liverpool 100/30
Man Utd 7/1
Tottenham 30/1
Leicester 35/1
Chelsea 70/1
Everton 150/1

Agreed.

With half the season behind us I think they've been the best team we've played this season - they took us to pieces like no other of the top clubs did. 2 days ago I had a cheeky tenner on them at 40-1 on Betfair, though I note that after last nights game they've dropped to 20-1.

Good value indeed.

Leicester are a good bet, but I would have to say anyone ruling out Man City hasn't been paying attention for the last few years. They should, by rights, win everything with their quality and squad depth.

Of that 7 posted, I'd actually say the least likely to my mind might be Chelsea, they look absolutely shot to pieces and I can't see them turning it around, even if they ditch Lampard.

Leicester at 35, easily the bet bet there. But probably City

Leicester look great at the moment.

But they did at the same stage last season, 39pts from 19 games.

They more than any other team are hugely dependent on one player. Even when he isn’t scoring his threat of getting in behind leaves spaces for players like Maddison to exploit.

It is now about consistency, Man City seem to be best placed compared with their rivals. I feel the other two teams to challenge will be Liverpool and Spurs. Anyone from the others - Man Utd, Chelsea, Leicester even Everton and West Ham will need an awful lot of luck to be top come the end of the season.

I don't think anyone would take Chelsea or Spuds as serious contenders, Leicester as a good outside punt, but for strength and depth it has to be Man City, Liverpool 2nd due to injuries and form dips, Manure 3rd.

In order of what represents best value (where you're looking for odds better than what you consider their chances to be), I'd go:

Leicester 35/1
Man Utd 7/1
Man City 4/5
Liverpool 100/30
Everton 150/1
Tottenham 30/1
Chelsea 70/1
