Which BHA podcasts do you regularly listen to?

The only one I can take seriously is Albion Unlimited...(Warren and the team) they also have a bit of knowledge on whats happening in the club

Lets talk BHAFC I have tried many times to listen but its like giggly teenagers in the playground. Thanks for the effort anyway.

Albion Roar sometimes OK.

Together BHA .....some Australian bloke just a stats overload stats for this, stats for that., I watch the game myself and make my own opinions. ie today he said Sanchez had a bad game at City!!! I don't seem to agree with him much.

any that I don't know about?

I've listened to virtually all the Football the Albion and Me and enjoyed them. Also regular listener to The Price of Football. Have listened to a couple of the Brighton Rock podcast but probably not for much longer! I'll try some of the others you mentioned.

As an aside as it's not Albion related, does anyone else listen to the Armchair Expert? Has had some great guests, Bill Gates, Hilary Clinton, US astronaut who's spent the longest time in space. Worth a listen.

Hahaha thank you for the rave review OP. For what it's worth I'm English, just like you!

My aim with the pod is to provide a stats based review of games while peppering in my own opinion, if you don't like stats it is most definitely not something you'd enjoy :)

In regards to Sanchez I don't think he had a bad game, he made some excellent saves. He just made 3 individual errors that lead to City either scoring or coming close.

We do have some cracking interviews though, if you ever fancy listening to less stats stats stats and some different kind of content:

Gus Poyet:

Bruno:

https://togetherbha.transistor.fm/episodes/episode-78-el-capitan-bruno

Peter Ward:

Alan Navarro:

https://togetherbha.transistor.fm/episodes/episode-77-alan-navarro

Andrew Crofts:

https://togetherbha.transistor.fm/episodes/episode-71-andrew-crofts

Cheers for giving it a listen, and if you'd like to come on the show and have a bit of a match review together let me know, always open!

Now that would be something I'd pay to listen to :lolol:

My ranking:

1) Football, the Albion and Me - By far the best Albion-related podcast. Keep up the good work Richard.

2) The Price of Football - yeah, I know, it isn't strictly Albion-related, but the main guy is an Albion fan so it qualifies in my book.

=3) Albion Unlimited

=3) MyAlbion Audio - the club's own podcast, interviews in a similar vein to Football, the Albion and Me

5) The Albion Roar (used to be the only game in town, but now that there is greater competition I find I go weeks without listening to it, and I can't say I miss it greatly).

6) Brighton Rock Podcast - some of these have been decent enough, particularly the interview ones, but there are (probably unavoidable) issues about using zoom for multiple individuals to produce a podcast that just make it an ultimately irritating experience for the listener.

7) Together - A BHAFC Podcast (I tried it for a while but it just ain't my cup of tea).

I haven't heard the Seagulls Downunder Podcast for months but I thought those were pretty good.

Atilla was tremendous on The Albion Roar the other week. I was wavering on Potter. Once he’d said his piece I was completely back in.

I like Football The Albion and Me too

Football The Albion and Me has been brilliant.

Some of the official ones recently have been top notch. Bruno and Burn.

Like the Albion roar but drives me mad how much they talk over each other and this pre dates the zoom days.

I really like Brighton Rock, particularly the main presenter, very grounded and mature approach...

Usually also listen to Albion Roar most weeks, but as others have said the talking over each other is slightly insufferable, and it is getting a little tired.

Enjoy Together BHA for the different stats based analysis of games.

Don't think it's been mentioned yet, but there is also Seagulls Social. Obviously not aimed at middle aged men, more the late teens/twenty somethings, but sometimes an entertaining listen!

Genuinely not heard of most of these.

Sounds quite a thriving scene though, which is good to read.

Like them all. The Together BHA one with Gus was a highlight last year. Anyone else been randomly blocked by the Roar on Twitter? I'm a thundering cockwaffle, just wondering if there's a more specific reason they get grumpy with people...

Roar is a public service for Albion exiles. It’s the throughbred for me, amongst an an increasing number of young bucks.

Fair enough, but I am curious to get feedback as to why “not for much longer”. Am always keen to hear feedback on here.

(We have had some good guests on the show such as Barber, Kuipers, Gordon Smith, Kieran and Kevin from Price of Footy (separate episodes), Tim Vickery, The Anfield Wrap guys (Neil Atkinson in particular is excellent) and Nobby Horton just this week with lots of profile guests (ex-players etc) planned. We are by our own admission very much amateurs with modest resources doing this as a hobby but hoping to bring some interest to some!.)

If this is a long standing criticism then please ignore but recording a podcast on zoom (rather in a radio station) without the normal in-person conversational cues is very challenging. I doubt that the lads have enough time to edit the clashes out.

I'm a big Roar fan and it's my go to, the squabbling is entertaining! I've also come to love 'Together' but will check out some of the others mentioned.

Re: Zoom, yes it is a pain in the arse for all of us to have to rely on recording remotely, especially when Nobby Horton’s WiFi is as inconsistent as a Trossard!, but we’ve had to muck on through with it for virtually our whole ‘lifespan’ so far (started Jan last year).
