Similar personnel for me, but with Veltman playing RB in a back four, White and Propper in front of them, March switching wings to mix things up, and MacAllister (in his preferred position as a no.10) rather than Trossard in behind Zeqiri and Tau.

Was thinking the same thing. Another 5-5-0 formation I think for this one then try to be more adventurous on Saturday for Leeds with a striker.

I agree with resting March. If Welbeck has a chance of being fit this week, save him for the Leeds game. Same with Lallana.

I also agree with the poster who said we’ll probably play without a recognised striker again. Either that or Tau will get hung out to dry on his PL debut and be asked to lead the line to on his own.

You work out a starting 11 who can run non-stop for 90 mins against Leeds on Saturday, and then cobble together a team that can also manage a game at Man City three days before.

Joking aside injuries are becoming a worry.

I think we would all have Lallana, Welbeck and Lamptey as three of the first names on the team sheet and all see out. Through in the suspension of Bissouma and it really doesn’t look good. Connolly is a miss as well.
