Sounds an exciting prospect. Wish we'd also get involved in a signing or two who are more of an immediate impact rather than a player to develop.

Develop ?

Assume you haven’t listened or read Tim Vickery’s opinion on him.

This isn’t a development project IF we get him... sounds like a very much now signing with a big future upside

He looks all action, fast, direct and hits the target from outside the area.

A departure in style for us :lolol::lolol:

For what ever reason do you believe he won't come straight in the first team.

If this guy is signing for us its because we've sold him first team football. Lamptey comes in at 19, no first team experience and is a revelation...this guy has it all for a CM. Would certainly see the end of White in CM which can only be a good thing. Suddenly a central 3 of Biss, Moder and Caicedo looks much more mobile. Add Propper into the mix there and it looks pretty dynamic to me.

Bissouma, Moder and Caicedo sounds very exotic, add in Propper out Lallana and we have a winner. Get him in now.

Moises Caicedo?

Well firstly sounds like a coup for the club as we’ve beaten a number of others, clearly an exciting talent with potential (Tim Vickery confirms), fantastic price and a good asset with a big upside. So kudos to the recruitment team for all that [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]

That said. I will reserve judgement. MacAllister had more fanfare and more legit first team experience at a big club and he’s not nailed down many PL starts yet.

Moises Caicedo?

sadly, he only has ability to pass forward, how would that work?

It would muck up our system of going sideways & backwards all the time for sure. I’m certain that Potter could work his magic on him and get him focused on Sanchez and the centre backs though.

For someone who plays the Kante role, he also has worryingly good stats in front of goal:

“Caicedo has scored six times and registered two assists in 31 outings for his Ecuadorian club.”

‘Pass don’t shoot’ will be another philosophy he’ll need to acclimatise to.
