Same.

I'd consider getting one privately before that if able, though would have to have a real think about the moral maze on that one...

Is it better to be vaccinated and therefore reduce the risk of catching it & passing it on, or is it potentially depriving someone of a vaccine that's more likely to save their life than mine?

Luckily it is a conundrum you won’t be facing. It is only available on the NHS because supplies are limited

November/December for me (I'm 57) I presume my first jab will be 12 weeks before so August / September.

I'm sure they will be working round the clock but that's a bit disappointing.

Might be a little while for me.

Based on your profile, there are between 28,049,905 and 38,844,493 people in front of you in the queue for a COVID vaccine across the UK.
Given a vaccination rate of 1,000,000 a week and an uptake of 70.6%, you should expect to receive your two doses of vaccine and be fully protected by between 01/02/2022 and 02/07/2022.

Exactly the same. Christ on a bike

I'm in group 8 (over 55) so November.
BUT...
Morbid Obesity is listed as one of the underlying health conditions which would move me up to group 6 and get me done in June so I'm getting stuck into the pasties and cakes big time.

With the range given (for me) extending to July 2022, I’d be surprised if there wasn’t something available privately before then, with production ramped up and new vaccines being cleared for use too.

Then again, in that scenario, the date I could get a vaccine through the NHS would move closer, making it :moo:t

If this is true them I’m at this for another year! As someone stated above I wonder how long before you’ll be able to go private, with all its morality issues. I can see marketing team already “Come to Dubai, tax free shopping with a free vaccine thrown in for good measure”

the objective is to get millions vaccinated. if a few get a dose overseas, not going to make a difference to what they can do, while its a slot for someone else.

Put my father-in-law in (86, generally healthy) - got "between 29/03/2021 and 05/04/2021". He had his first jab before Christmas - second one due on Sunday and he's not had a cancellation notice yet. But if he does, it will be third week of March as predicted. So, this calculator could do with updating to show when you get your first jab, not 'fully protected'.

Put in a few different variants - age, health etc. Not convinced by the accuracy - 'between 500,000 and 4,500,000' (not the exact figures quoted, but rounded up to the nearest half million) was one of the results!
