wait, you said people couldnt afford it. then not enough time. now there isnt enough fruit and veg or they are just too tempted by the expensive processed food, or need fancy dressing to enliven it. so its not too expensive really is it, people just make their choices.

1, I clearly said people were poor and time poor, cheap crap food is the result of both of those.

2, The processed foods are usually on end gondolas, given higher publicity and on BOGOF, or special offer and so cheaper.

3, Yes, based on their income, education and how much energy they have after a long day.

I think we are very much " the Sick Man " of Europe, getting back on topic. We have ended up with the worst death toll for a variety of reasons, cash in one way or another being very much responsible for a lot of it.

Gut feel is when the pandemic is over (or at least is in a manageable state), he'll resign citing "ill health and wanting to spend time with his young family" and exit stage right.

He looks a broken man on PMQs as Starmer carves him apart at the moment.

It might come sooner than later.

Just listening to him now on the radio. What a nasty piece of work he is.

Yes, poor education, poor wages and people who HAVE to work because they won't get sick pay, can't afford the rent or mortgage, poorly supported NHS and poor nutrition due to said poor wages. It's a cocktail for disaster unless you are well paid and have the option to work from home.

For those in denial about the poverty that exists in Britain watch Ken Loach's latest film. You can see why so many people don't self isolate from when they are covid positive. They have no choice...
