I can't see the premier league awarding Everton a 3-0 victory over Man City like Romania were against Norway. Surely we don't want to encourage teams to hide positive covid tests?

We send the boot boys in the army to do the tests for them:)

No. All the games are going to have to be played at some point, they can't cancel it, so creating a fixture bottleneck later on the year is a silly idea, particularly when you've supposedly got the euros this summer. Most games can be conducted in realitive safety, they'll be able to reschedule the comparatively small number that have been postponed

So the football fixtures should take priority over the NHS?

What relevance do either of those have to eachother? Players aren't becoming infected because they're playing games, you stop the games and you'll still have the same amount of players getting covid. The games themselves are incredibly safe environments.

The link in the original post suggests the Rochdale Dr. believes travelling around the country and then spending time with family is not a good thing.
