I tried to post an urgent letter yesterday but three post boxes in our area showed Tuesday as next collection so went today to a sub-post office and enquired if they were due a collection today,was told Tuesday, accepting Friday was Christmas day, Saturday Boxing Day and Sunday is not a collection Day can anyone say why no collection today,

It’s a bank holiday on Monday, giving staff a weekday off, as Boxing Day fell at the weekend.

Many thanks,did not realise it was a Bank Holiday in Liue

It was in the UK, but not sure about Liue.
