Duffy looked great with a defensive style and CM's sat in front and protecting the defence which resulted in lots of high balls into the box allowing Duffy to thrive. CH spotted his ability and bringing him in allowed us to be a solid defensive unit. Duffy would be exposed in our current set up which could cost him a decent move in the summer. Bad decision for all parties

Whilst Webster may be error prone he’s comfortable with the ball at his feet, Duffy is not.
Webster at 25 will come into his own through these experiences and in 2 years will be comfortably the best CB we have.

Nope, we’ve moved on. Not going to revert to old-skool defending now. Duffy doesn’t have the game in him to play as we do now.

No. Shane Duffy isn’t a premier league defender. Hence he is playing in a league 1 standard league.
