Fiveways
Sanchez 7.5 -- good debut, a couple of decent saves, reassuring presence in the box, and better range of distribution than Ryan
White 7 -- solid
Dunk 7 -- looking good again, should have done better with that header
Webster 7 -- one slip, one stunning break, a super header which was inches away
Lamptey 7 -- a threat
Bissouma 7 -- did what he does
Alzate 5 -- meh
March 9 MotM -- constant threat
Lallana 5 -- meh
Welbeck 4.5 -- good running, but had to score from that chance

Jahanbakhsh 5
Veltman 7
Gross n/a

Defenders did well then, attackers didn't

MOM Referee, who I thought officiated excellently.

Sanchez great for Albion. Thought White was good.

You missed Trossard. Which in itself speaks volumes

You were watching a different game to me.

Alzate worth way more than a 5. Been left out for a long time for I don't know what reason, comes in to a midfield battle game and more than acquits himself well.

March 9!!! I like him but his bad decision making drove me mad tonight. He can and has played far better than this this season.

a galaxy far far away
Sanchez - 7 - Well done Robbie. Three good saves. Good range on his kicking. GP did the right thing bringing Maty out of the firing line

White - 6 - Composed as usual
Dunk - 6 - Commanding at the back once more. Criminal finishing
Webster - 6 - Hugely unlucky to hit the bar. Hugely lucky to get away with his slip

Lamptey - 7 - Great run and cross in the first half for what should have been the winning goal
Bissouma - 7 - Very good ball carrying, tackling and general midfield play
Alzate - 5 - He's a decent ball player, does he have the athleticism to excel in the Premier League? Not involved enough today
March - 7 - MOM - Always showing for the ball, a good outlet, doesn't lose possession often, decent set pieces and crosses from open play

Trossard - 4 - Often seems to be playing for himself with some of his flicks. Woeful shot towards the end
Lallana - 6 - Clearly feeling his way back, but some quality touches and a decent finish
Wellbeck - 2 - Alarming performance. Slow across the pitch, as if in a daydream. Shelled another glorious chance to win us a game. We need better

Subs - Bit late to mark. Some odd stuff from Pascal though

Give them all a 6, apart from Sanchez (7.5) and move on because it was pretty dire!

Don't get the low scores for Alzate, always busy in midfield, never let them settle.great to have him back in there.

Sanchez 8.5 - MOTM - 3 great saves - good distribution - We lose without him - No justice if he loses the shirt
White 7 - Very good again - looks like a seasoned pro every time he plays.
Dunk 7 - Welcome back captain. Some leadership again - useful in both boxes. top stuff
Webster 7 - What can you do? That header goes in against us, you know it does...
Lamptey 7 - decent crosses, not quite the threat he was at first, but still absolute quality
Bissouma 7 - battled in a scrappy game
Alzate 6 - Did ok
March 8 - another strong performance, decent delivery, good in defence, awesome first time control when the ball was swung out to him. Anyone still slating him needs to **** off for good.
Lallana 6 - some ok stuff, good to see him put the ball away. But really not his sort of game today.
Welbeck 5 - I really like him. He makes us better, but....... that's 3 gilt edge chances now, that Murray would have buried... It's a problem.

Jahanbakhsh 5 - Not a game for him, surprised he was picked ahead of Maupay. If Trossard isn't getting enough time, then AJ isn't going to do any better. That one's on Potter.
Veltman 7 - So, so good. Experience, guile, grit, the whole package. Somehow he manages to wriggle out of the press and pick a forward pass when there isn't anything on.He's got to make it on the shortlist for Player of the season for me.

Round of applause: Sanchez and March

Pat on the back: everyone else
.
except
.
Kick up the arse: Trossard and Welbeck (thought Welbeck played alright apart from when it came to doing what he's actually there to do)

Thought Potter might have made some positive changes a bit earlier but, hey ho.

Sanchez 8 Very good. Just thought direction of his long kicks not great Will stay in
White 8 Good
Dunk 8 Back to his best. Was pleased Mitrovich didnt come on earlier
Webster 7 Good but showed he always seems to have a big mistake in him. Though couldnt understand how he was left one on one at a throw in
Lampty 8 Good and dealt with his defensive duties better that let White stay central
March 8 Got balance between attack and defence just right. However does lack quality in final third
Bissouma 8 Main reason there midfield no threat
Alzate 6 First game for a while but as I consider he is a creative player lacked spark tonight
Lalana 6 Not as inventive tonight
Trossard 6 I am a fan but little contribution. Maybe under instruction but played too deep to be creative
Welbeck 7 Such small margins so close to scoring. So many good runs but thought so many long balls to him were very poor.. Always over the top not enough to feet or chest.
