Interestingly this year the group stage of the u21 championship next year will be held 24-31 March during the Premiership season.

Brighton players who might be involved-

Lamptey - England
Zeqiri - Swiss
Van Hecke - Netherlands
Baluta - Romania
Mlakar - Slovenia

England have just been drawn with the Swiss so could very well see Zeqiri vs Lamptey.

Just pull Lamptey out with a ‘niggle’, to avoid any injuries. He’s not going to learn anything from Aidy Boothroyd.

Clubs cant deny national teams from picking their players but I think that agreement only includes senior players. I expect most PL teams to tell Boothroyd to **** off about the players regularly playing in the first team.
