With less than a month to go until the Yuletide celebrations are in full flow, deocrations are up for the winter holidays and the tree is up, focus is now on fine tuning the menu for the big day.

So what will you be indulging in for dessert this Christmas/Winterval?

Winds up the Xmas haters.

For us, Christmas Pudding, with Yuletide Log for the (fussier) kids.

Piping hot custard.
Single cream.

All incredibly unhealthy.

I don't mind a smidge of xmas pud and cream ( single is enough)

but the real deal is cheese and port mid evening

Xmas Pud with cream.

I'm the only one though as no one else in my family like it. But for me Christmas is not Christmas with out Christmas Pud.

A decent Christmas pudding , nice and rich with plenty of dried fruit and brandy inside it . Served with either brandy sauce or M & S fresh custard or good quality vanilla ice cream . Sorted .

I always intend to have Christmas pud , but I’m generally too stuffed to contemplate it . So it’s usually more wine , then I will consider a small but perfectly formed cheeseboard when I’m too pissed to really appreciate it.
