Lightning quick French winger has died suddenly, only 48
I only saw him play live once but he was one of those players you couldn't take your eyes off. He scored a great try in the semi-final of the WC against New Zealand (and it was his run that set up France's first try too).
A sad day for rugby. What with JJ Williams dying earlier in the month, we've lost a cracking pair of wingers.
EDIT: Just seen an update on this and, from early reports, it appears that he took his own life. What a tragic end for someone who lit up his sport
